Raised on the Gulf Coast of the United States, American singer-songwriter Elley
Duhé (February 14, 1992) grew up among musicians, many of whom were active in
the New Orleans music scene. After getting her first guitar from her father at
the age of 14, she began performing at coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and
private parties. Shortly afterward, she dropped out of high school and moved to
