Born in Paris on July 19, 1963, Emmanuelle Mottaz, or simply Emmanuelle, is best
known for her teen hits, including "Premier baiser". Noticed by the AB
Productions label, which produces youth programs starring Dorothée, she began
her singing career with the song "Je t'appelle de Macao" (1985), before lending
her voice to the computer in Dorothée's song "Allô, allô, monsieur
l'ordinateur". Her breakthrough came with the ballad "Premier baiser", which
reached No. 2 in the Top 50 in 1986, and preceded a debut album of the same
