The product of a merger between mass media giants CJ E&M and Big Hit Entertainment, Enhypen is a South Korean K-Pop boy band, assembled through the 2020 survival reality show I-Land. Auditions for the show began in March 2019 as 23 male trainees were recruited to participate in the competition, which was broadcasted locally via music channel Mnet and also internationally via Big Hit Entertainment’s video streaming platform.
