South Korean alternative hip-hop trio known as Epik High comprising Tablo,
Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz was founded in 2001, with the Seoul-based group signed
with Woollim Entertainment for their debut studio album, Map of the Human Soul
(2003). Following the modest success of High Society (2004), Epik High increased
their visibility with Swan Songs (2005) and, more notably, Remapping the Human
Soul, which unexpectedly topped the best-selling charts in South Korea, despite
being censored by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture over its multiple
references to sex crimes, war, religion...
