Éric Legnini, born in Huy near Liège on February 20, 1970, has become one of the
great pianists of his generation. Appearing in the 1990s in a variety of formats
(solo, trio or quintet with Stefano Di Battista and Flavio Boltro), he has
released a number of critically acclaimed albums, including Miss Soul (2006) and
Trippin' (2009). In 2011, the funk jazz of The Vox was unanimously acclaimed,
earning him a Victoire du jazz award. This was followed by the trio interlude
Ballads, devoted to cover versions in 2012, and the following year by Sing
