Born on 22 January 1997 in Düsseldorf, Germany, Erika Ikuta was raised in Tokyo
where she moved when she was five years old. As an adolescent, Erika Ikuta was
drawn to the piano, which ultimately propelled her to explore the disciplines of
singing and dancing. In 2011, the Japanese actor and singer began her career as
a member of the female idol group Nogizaka46 with whom she was able to hone her
craft across a range of releases and live performances. The group's first
