Taking the old skool hip hop of LL Cool J and Run DMC and adding sleazy synths,
big bass lines and shout-for-the-sky, singalong choruses, Far East Movement are
a party-starting, electro rap outfit that create flamboyant, strutting dance
pop. Inspired to form after seeing Kanye West and Dilated Peoples play at the
House of Blues club, high school friends Kev Nish (Kevin Nishimura), Prohgress
(James Roh), J-Splif (Jae Choung), and DJ Virman (Virman Coquia) started putting
