Flip Kowlier is the stage name of Belgian singer-songwriter Filip Willy Mariette Cauwelier, born on March 15, 1976. Hailing from Izegem in West Flanders, he made his debut in the late 90s with the hip-hop collective 't Hof van Commerce under the pseudonym Levrancier, releasing the albums En in Izzegem (1998) and Herman (1999), which featured lyrics exclusively in West Flemish dialect.
