Adding big pop crescendos, rock & roll riffs, and the odd Southern hip-hop beat
to their swaggering singalongs, country duo Florida Georgia Line drew a new
audience to the revitalized genre. Taking the band name from their home states,
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley started writing songs together in 2010 during the
senior year at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. They released the EPs
Anything Like Me and It's Just What We Do before signing with major label
Republic Nashville and recording debut album, 2012’s Here's to the Good Times
with Nickelback's producer Joey Moi....
