Fort Minor is an alternative hip-hop project by Mike Shinoda, one of the
founding members of Linkin Park. in 2005, he released his debut album The Rising
Tied, on which he was supported by Jay-Z (co-producer), John Legend, Skylar
Grey, Kenna and his band colleague from Linkin Park, Joe Hahn, among others. In
the USA, the album stays in the charts for a total of 26 weeks and is also
certified platinum. In Germany, the album reaches number 25 in the charts. in
