Gabriele 'Gabry' Ponte (April 20, 1973) is an Italian DJ and producer but he
first came to fame as a member of the Italian record company and collaborative
group Bliss Corporation under whose wing he formed the Worldbus Record label. In
1997, he teamed up with MTJ Capuano, and vocalist Claire Thomas to form the
Sangwara group, releasing a number of covers including those of Roberta Flack's
“Killing Me Softly” and what proved to be the band's biggest hit, a cover of No
Doubt's “Don't Go.” Also under the Bliss Corp umbrella, he joined up with
popular dance group Eiffel 65 in 1998. ...
