A rapper from Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France who comes from an Ivorian family, Gaulois was first a member of the group Bongeo from 2014 and 2018, allowing him to infuse musical influences ranging from Ivorian zouglou to French rap and blues, before taking a break to travel and then starting his solo career.
