Gerardo Ortiz Medina is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter in the regional
Mexican music genre, specializing in the norteño, sierreño, and mariachi
subgenres. He was born in Pasadena, California, on October 5th, 1989. He was
raised in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico. Gerardo Ortiz started in music at a very
early age, starring in the children’s musical reality show Código F.A.M.A. He
