Brazilian composer, DJ and producer Gui Boratto made his name in the advertising
world before setting up the group Sect with his brother Tchorta. Moving into
production with the MegaMusic label, he took part in the soundtrack to City of
God (2002), then signed to the Kompakt label, where a number of EPs were
released. In 2007, he released his debut album Chromophobia, followed by Take My
Breath Away (2009) and Gui Boratto III (2011). Still somewhere between
progressive house and minimalist techno, Gui Boratto released The K2 Chapter
(2013) and Abaporu (2014).
