The Christian-minded indie-pop band He Is We formed in 2008 in Tacoma,
Washington. Co-founders Rachel Taylor and Trevor Kelly met while working at a
local music store, then made their debut as He Is We with the independent album
A Mess it Grows in 2009. That same year, they also released Old Demos, which
earned them a deal with Universal Motown Records. With Universal's help, they
made their major-label debut with 2010's My Forever, an album that featured a
