Jean-Pierre Kalfon dit Hector (Paris, October 20, 1946 - Pont l'Abbé, February
19, 2020) began his singing career with the group Les Médiators. After an EP,
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On (1963), with two songs written by Jean Yanne and
Gérard Sire, including "T'es pas du quartier", he continued on his own,
recording two more EPs: Alligator (1964) and Abab L'Arabe (1966), featuring
