Hello Venus was a South Korean girl group formed in Seoul by Tricell Media, a joint venture between Pledis Entertainment and Fantagio. The original lineup comprised Alice, Nara, Lime, Yooara, Yoonjo, and Yooyoung. The group made their official debut with the 2012 release of the single "Venus," followed by their debut EP by the same name. In July 2014, the joint venture ended, leading Yooara and Yoonjo to remain with Pledis, while the other four members stayed under Fantagio.
