Hermes House Band
The Dutch pop group Hermes House Band was founded in 1982 as a party and cover
combo. The music group has its origins in the Rotterdam student corps, in which
the founding members (Michiel Muller, Douwe van de Werf, Ilco Schuuringa, Jan
Hoogendoorn, Ronald Tettero and Pieter van der Plas) met during their studies in
Rotterdam. in 1989, the Hermes House Band was on the verge of splitting up, but
this was averted. in 1991 they released their debut album 010 Hallo Rotterdam
and in 1992 the album Thuis, which reached 25th place in the Dutch charts. Their
