Wahab was born in Alappuzha, India, on October 14, 1990. Raised in Saudi Arabia,
he was trained in Carnatic and Hindustani classical music at a young age, began
playing piano at 11 years old, and studied audio engineering in college. He
retuned to India in 2007, where he competed in the television show Idea Star
Singer and worked as a playback singer for Malayalam-language films like
