Hikaru Utada, born on January 19, 1983, also known simply as Utada, is a
Japanese singer, songwriter, and producer, widely regarded as one of Japan's
most influential and successful musical artists. Utada was born in the United
States to Japanese parents who both worked in the entertainment industry.
