Hippo Campus is an American indie rock band from Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Consisting of Jake Luppen, Nathan Stocker, Zach Sutton, and Whistler Isaiah
Allen, the group formed while studying at the Saint Paul Conservatory for
Performing Artists. Tarzan Rejects, their debut EP, was released in 2013.
Produced by Low's Alan Sparhawk, a second extended play titled Bashful Creatures
saw the light in 2014 and was then re-released by Grand Jury Records in 2015.
That same year, the EP South went to Number 16 on the Billboard Heatseekers
