The Mandopop singer Huang Xiaoyun was born on December 22, 1998, in Longping
Town, China. Raised by Bouyei parents, she began singing as a toddler and
quickly grew into a multi-instrumentalist, playing drums, piano, and guzheng.
Huang Xiaoyun was still a teenager when she auditioned for The Voice of China's
final season in 2015, advancing to the television show's Top 16 round before
