Indila
The French R&B singer Indila was born Adila Sedraïa in Paris on June 26, 1984.
Her family has roots in Algeria, Cambodia, Egypt and India. The musician adopted
her stage name because of her love of India. Before she started her solo career,
the artist was already featured in various tracks by different French rappers.
These include the songs "Criminel" (2010) by TLF and "Thug marriage" by Rohff.
In November 2013, Indila released her debut single "Dernière danse", which
reached number 2 in the charts in Belgium and France. Shortly afterwards, her
