Isyana Sarasvati
Isyana Sarasvati is an Indonesian singer and songwriter who has transformed
early promise in classical and opera music into a successful career in pop. Born
in Bandung, in 1993, by the age of four she was already beginning to dabble in
music and over the years has tried her hand variously at the piano, Electone,
flute, violin, saxophone and singing.
When she was 16, Sarasvati was given a scholarship by the Singapore government
to study Music Performance at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, and
