Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah (born March 27, 1992 in Newham, England) known
professionally as Jae5, is a British-Ghanaian producer and engineer. Hailing
from a musical family who introduced him to a range of R&B, hip-hop as well as
Ghanaian music, Mensah studied production and engineering with APE Media,
joining his uncle’s production company JOAT Music Group, producing acclaimed
