Janek Ledecký (born Jan Ledecký in Prague, Czechoslovakia, on July 27, 1962) was
the lead singer of the rock band Žentour before going solo. Composer, guitarist
and performer, he founded Žentour in 1981 and made three albums with what was
one of the country's most popular bands, each recorded in Czech and English.
After a decade, Ledecký felt the need to develop a career of his own, and began
work on his first solo album, Na ptáky jsme krátký, released in 1992 on the
