Born Chandrajeet Ganguly, on May 24, 1977, in Baranagar, Kolkata, classically
trained Indian music director Jeet Gannguli has made a name for himself as a
score composer of Bengali and Hindi movies. After being steered into Indian
classical music waters by his father Kali Ganguly and his father's sister
Shibani Roychowdhury, he also completed studies in western classical music,
jazz, and rock with jazz guitarist Carlton Kitto. In 2001, he kickstarted his
