Jikustik
Fronted by songwriter Pongki Barata, Jikustik formed in 1996 in Yogyakarta,
Indonesia. Bassist/vocalist Icha, guitar/vocalist Dadi, keyboardist Adhit, and
drummer Carlo completed the band's lineup, and Jikustik made its recorded debut
with the full-length album Seribu Tahun in 2000. "Seribu Tahun Lamanya" and
“Saat Kau Tak Disini” became radio hits, and Barata continued serving as the
band's lead singer and chief songwriter for eight years, with Icha and Dadi both
performing a handful of songs as lead vocalists, as well. During that time,
