Tongbai Janlueang (born on March 6, 1969 in Kaset Wisai district, Roi Et
province, Thailand) (known as Jintara Poonlarp) is a is a Thai mor lam, luk
thung and pop music singer. Drawn to a musical career in her early-teen years,
Poonlarp was persuaded to enter a singing contest, and was discovered by Thai
radio host Hia Ying Chai Sibualert who was drawn to her unique country style.
Known by the epithet “sao siang pin” ("lute-voiced girl"), Poonlarp signed to
Thai music label GMM Grammy, releasing her debut album Took lauk auk rong rian
