Jocelyne Labylle was born on January 7, 1973 in Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe.
Influenced by the figure of her mother, a dancer with the group Karabina, she
dreamed of a similar career and joined the music world and the Mélodie group at
the age of 19. Together, they released their first album, Affaire de femme
(1992), before Jocelyne Labylle's departure two years later. She joined Zouk
Orchestra, where she became an increasingly important vocalist, and then
