A guitar prodigy since the age of four, Joe Bonamassa (born in New York State,
May 8, 1977) opened for B.B. King at the age of twelve. A few years later, he
formed the group Bloodline, then signed to the Epic label at the age of 22. He
released A New Day Yesterday in 2000 and So It's Like That in 2002, then
continued in the blues-rock vein with the covers on Blues Deluxe (2003). His
seventh album, The Ballad of John Henry, was released in 2009. On Black Rock,
