Jon Henrik Fjällgren was born in Colombia but adopted at an early age by a Sámi
family from Sweden, where he learned to be a reindeer herder. He was inspired by
the traditional songs of the Sámi people and started singing and joiking in the
traditional Sámi style aged 14.
In 2014, he entered and won 'Sweden's Got Talent', singing 'Daniel's Joik', a
song inspired by a close friend who had died as a result of complications from
diabetes. With the prize money from the competition, Fjällgren set up a charity
to help sufferers of diabetes and released studio album 'Goeksegh' (2014)...
