Jonas Fjeld is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and guitarist who took his stage
name from a character in a novel by Ovre Richter Frich. Initially he released
some comedy records as the Jonas Fjeld Rock'N'Rolf Band and the Jonas Fjeld Bing
Bang Band. He released his first solo album 'Take Aspirins and Call Me in the
Morning' in 1975, an album in the singer-songwriter style that included covers
of two Beatles songs.
As the Jonas Fjeld Band he released several country rock albums in the 1970s and
1980s, including their debut 'Tennessee Tapes' in 1977, 'Back in the USA' in
