Since his dazzling debut in 1976 with his band The Modern Lovers, Jonathan Richman has become a cult rocker. This John Cale-produced debut was quickly followed by Rock'N'Roll With the Modern Lovers (1977), from which the hit "Egyptian Reggae" emerged.
