Lee Joo-heon, widely recognized by his stage name Joohoney, is a South Korean
rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. He was born on October 6, 1994, in
Nam-gu, Daegu, South Korea. Before gaining prominence as a member of the boy
group Monsta X, formed through Mnet's survival show No.Mercy in 2015, Joohoney
was part of a project group called Nu Boyz in 2014. As his career kicked off, he
featured in tracks like "Coach Me" and took part in the soundtrack for the South
Korean drama Orange Marmalade. In 2015, Joohoney auditioned for Mnet's rap
competition show Show Me the Money and...
