English R&B singer Jorja Smith was born June 11, 1997, in Walsall, England. She
began performing as a child and started to write songs when she studied music as
a teenager, admitting to an obsession with Amy Winehouse. She debuted with the
single “Blue Lights” in 2016 and it became her first Top 40 hit. She performed
live with Canadian rapper Drake and in 2017 performed on two tracks on his More
