Brazilian pop-rock troupe Jota Quest formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1993.
They scored a hit three years later with "As Dores do Mundo," a cover of the
1975 track by Bahian soul artist Hyldon. Comprising Rogério Flausino (vocals),
Marco Túlio (guitar), Márcio Buzelin (keyboards), "PJ" Paulo Roberto Diniz, Jr.
(bass) and Paulinho Fonseca (drums), the band blazed a trail in Brazil with
