Julee Cruise - born on December 1, 1956, in Creston, Iowa – was a Singer,
songwriter, musician and actress best known for her musical association with
composer Angelo Badalamenti and director David Lynch. She began her musical
journey studying the French horn at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa but
changed her focus and performed as a singer and actress with the Children's
Theater Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Relocating to New York to further her
