Originally an English-language school band consisting of Simon Triebel, Jonas
Pfetzing, Andreas Herde and Martin Möller, who left the group in 2000,
Sunnyglade became the alternative German pop project Juli in 2001. Now joined by
Marcel Römer as drummer and Eva Briegel on the microphone, Juli secured their
first record deal in 2003. Commercial success followed in 2004: With "Perfekte
Welle" , the five-piece formation immediately achieved a top 3 hit in Germany,
