Julie Byrne is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist whose second album of
folk songs titled 'Not Even Happiness' was described by NME as "a delicate
masterpiece'. Born in Buffalo, New York, she learned to play the guitar as a
teenager after her musician father could no longer play due to multiple
sclerosis. She led a nomadic life around America and in 2012, while in Chicago,
recorded two live EPs that in 2014 formed her debut album 'Rooms With Walls &
