Karim Ouellet
Quebec, Canada-based singer/songwriter Karim Ouellet was born on December 8,
1984, in Dakar, Senegal. He was adopted by a Quebec couple when he was just a
few months old. While his father was a diplomat, his mother played the kora, a
traditional African instrument, thus inspiring the young boy and his sister
(rapper Sarahmee). Karim Ouellet was only 7 years old when he wrote his first
song, and as a teenager, he discovered the electric guitar. He started playing
