One of Australia's most popular country artists, Kasey Chambers is the daughter
of singers and musicians Bill and Diane Chambers. Born in Mount Gambier in the
south of the country on June 4, 1976, she made her debut at the age of ten in
her father's band, Dead Ringer Band, until 1998, before embarking on a solo
career with the album The Captain (1999), produced by her brother Nash Chambers.
An ARIA Award winner, she toured the USA with Lucinda Williams and opened for
