König Boris (born June 18, 1974 in Hamburg) is a musician and singer from
Germany. Born Boris Lauterbach, he also performs under the name Der König tanzt.
He has spent the majority of his musical career as a member of the band Fettes
Brot. Boris Lauterbach enjoyed great success in Germany with the band from 1992
onwards. Fettes Brot's best-known songs include "Nordisch by Nature" (1995),
"Jein" (1996), "Schwule Mädchen" (2001) and "Emanuela". The single climbs to
number 1 in the charts in Austria in 2005. In 2022, Fettes Brot announce their
