Led by frontman Jon Micah Sumrall and guitarist James Mead, Kutless is a
Christian hard-rock band that formed in 1999, while the group's members were
college students in Portland, Oregon. The band's self-titled debut was released
in 2002. Beginning with 2004's Sea of Faces, Kutless' albums routinely cracked
the Top 5 of Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart, with 2005's gold-selling
Strong Tower marking the group's best-selling album to date. Kutless earned
