Born Lamin Nørlem Samba on 16 May 1995 in Brønshøj, Denmark to a father with Gambian heritage and a Danish mother, the rapper known mononymously as Lamin has since carved out a singular sound on the country's national hip-hop scene, spearheading a self-styled movement called "The Wave."
