LaTocha Reney Scott-Bivens, born on October 2, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an
American singer-songwriter and actress. She discovered her love for performing
at a very young age, showcasing her singing talents in church, weddings, and
local talent shows. She rose to prominence in the 1990s as a member of the
influential R&B girl group Xscape. The group, consisting of Scott, her sister
Tamika, Kandi Burruss, and Tameka Cottle, came together in 1991 and quickly
