Osvaldo Lenine Macedo Pimentel, who goes by the single name Lenine, is a
singer-songwriter in the música popular Brasileira (MPB) tradition with a mix of
Latin pop, rock and blues. He has earned several Latin Grammy Award nominations
with six wins and he has written a vast number of songs many of which have been
recorded by artists such as Maria Bethânia, Zélia Duncan, Daniela Mercury and
