Less Than Jake
Less Than Jake are an American ska-punk band who formed in 1992 in Gainesville,
Florida. Known for their infectious blend of punk rock energy, ska rhythms, and
witty, sometimes socially-conscious lyrics, the band quickly became one of the
most influential groups in the third-wave ska movement. The founding
members—Chris Demakes (vocals/guitar), Roger Lima (bass/vocals), and Vinnie
Fiorello (drums)—were later joined by trombone player Buddy Schaub and
saxophonist Peter "JR" Wasilewski, solidifying the band’s signature horn-driven
