Formed in 1992 by the couple Benoît Carré (brother of actress Isabelle Carré)
and Catherine Diran with Philippe Zavriew, the Lilicub trio scored a hit with
their debut album and title track "Voyage en Italie", which reached No. 7 in the
singles chart in 1996. Nominated at the "Victoires de la musique" awards and
awarded a prize by the SACEM, Lilicub continued their on-again, off-again
adventure with the next five albums, released between 1998(La Grande Vacance)
and 2008(Papa A Fait Mai 68). Their paths eventually diverged. Catherine Diran
