Los Cafres
Los Cafres are a reggae band from Buenos Aires who emerged in the 1990s and with
their distinctive sound became pioneers of reggae fusion music in Argentina.
They formed in the late 1980s but had a disappointing start to their career due
to a lack of venues prepared to book an Argentinian reggae band. As a result the
band went into a short hiatus before returning to the music business in the
early 1990s and re-launching themselves. From their early days the band have
